I used to get poke all the time, always with salmon and snow crab, and everything was fine until today. I got a poke around 7:30 pm tonight. The salmon was fine, but the snow crab was bad and even smelled when I came back home and opened the container. I didn’t pay attention at first, but after trying it twice, I realized the taste was different. Later I understood it had gone bad, and the texture was more liquid. Would not recommend this place if you don’t wanna develop food poisoning!

Visited in the late afternoon so I can’t speak for how much it can get at lunch or dinner time. It’s been a while since I’ve been here so I forgot you ordered on a card then submitted it to the staff before paying. My bowl: half white rice, half kelp noodles, cucumber, red onion, jalapeños, spicy tuna, spicy house poke sauce, creamy wasabi, edamame, kimchee, furikake.

Solid poke place. I like how you check what you’d like to have in your bowl on a little paper sheet like a deli sandwich order. There are lots of good options. Would recommend and go back. Regular bowl size is a sizable portion. Minor details but wasabi is the fake stuff- colored radish probably because it doesn’t taste like actual wasabi- and adding a small scoop of avocado adds $1.25. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I recommend half rice and half mixed greens as a base- it’s a great mix in my opinion!

I really don’t like giving bad reviews! 😩 but this place was not it. Shame on me for getting my hopes up and expecting authentic poke. We came here right at opening. The woman who was behind the counter was not happy to see us. Maybe she was having a bad day, but there were no smiles or pleasant greetings. The food did not look great. The fish was chopped in tiny pieces! And the portions were very small. I ordered the unagi (HUGE mistake) I swear someone from the back brought it out from the microwave. It was mushy and fishy and disgusting. The ahi was whatever. The spicy ahi was practically already chewed up for you. I would not come back here, I would not recommend this place. Really poor quality. Bad service. Not aloha!!

I have now been 5-6 times. Once in Fall 2020 and I felt the order process went wonderfully, staff was kind, and my bowl was incredible. It took several months, but I returned in February of 2021. Before my visit I saw a negative review about food poisoning. Despite this, I recalled my positive experience and decided to return. It was even better than the first time! I am writing one week after my second visit, and I was served only the freshest ahi tuna along with my (imitation) crab. The staff was friendly again, portions were excellent (especially the proteins and ginger), and I can't wait to return! Went back in May and June 2022 and it was excellent every time. Service is good and food is fresh!
